Lexi's birthday photo shoot and more

Our big girl on the move.

The kids have been losing so many teeth recently--Kyler lost 2 in the last 2 days!
As part of our annual tradition, we took Lexi on a birthday photo shoot. She picked her outfit and some of the poses. This year I asked where she wanted me to take her pictures, she immediately replied with "a bridge!" So here goes a few of our favorites...

Sepia version.

Hard to believe she will be 7 tomorrow. She is such a pure joy; always eager to help and please, very sweet, loving, thoughtful, happy, funny, beautiful and smart. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter. Tomorrow we will have a small family get together and her official party will be in a few weeks. Here's to a wonderful 7th year for a special little girl!

After the 'photo shoot'...
Such a handsome guy. He had his hair cut and is ready for school, which begins on Wednesday!

Lexi changed clothes so we could play in the water.

The water was frigid, but she loves water so much she couldn't resist!

Jared's first cast result.

We found out the kids teachers for this year...Kyler did get the 4th/5th grade blend and he could not be happier! So proud of him!! I am pleased knowing that he will be more challenged doing advanced work. Crazy to think how time is flying by. Wow...

Thanks to those who sent birthday cards and/or gifts to Lexi. It always means a lot.

11 years (and such)

The kids had a sleepover...I made s'more clusters, one of their favorite desserts. I love how simple they are to make.
The girls: Lexi, Ari and Sasha. These 2 are so funny with their accessories and imaginations.

The boys: Jackson and Kyler. These 2 share all the same interests-Legos, video games and Nerf gun battles. Boys, haha!

As the kids jumped on the trampoline, Ari watched from our window, knocking to get their attention.

A friend of mine started making hair flower clips and headbands. SO cute! Thanks Melissa!

Checking out her pretty flower.

A trip to the coast:

The kids caught so many of these crabs, it was unreal!

Loving her sister.

Zed

She loves putting things on her head-glasses, headbands, hats, etc.

Helping build a sandcastle.

Sleeping on daddy.

It seems the tooth fairy is always visiting our house. Kyler lost another tooth.

For our anniversary weekend, we went to the coast and stayed at a nice hotel. Kids in tow.

The kids loved the jacuzzi.

Ari trying to see what's going on.

The view from our balcony.

Blowing kisses

After a day spent on the beach, in the jacuzzi and at the park, it was nice to have the kids unwind by a fire, with a snack and a movie.

The park view. (Kyler had sand in his eyes)

An early morning walk on the beach.

Our hotel

There were a lot of jellyfish washed up.

11 years!!

Writing on washed up wood.

We have once again been super busy...

Kyler began soccer practice twice a week, which he LOVES. His team is called the Kickerz.

Lexi is registered for dance which starts soon. She turns 7 on Monday.

School begins in a week.

Arilyn has been talking up a storm, saying so many new words it seems daily. She tickles and says "tickle tickle", does itsy bitsy spider with her hands, as well as patty cake. Her 8th tooth broke through recently, 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom. She is able to walk, when she wants.
