We have had beautiful spring-like weather here. We took the boat for a trial river trip. Jared was a pro!

The rapids: We had visitors this week. On Sunday, my ex step mom (kind of an interesting story-she and my dad were together for several years from the time I was 4, and we still stay in touch and love her dearly) text me asking if we'd be home the next day. Well, the next day, they showed up! We were thrilled! We hadn't seen them for a year and a half. Unfortunately, it was only a short trip, but we had a great time. We sat at home chatting for hours, then took them to some waterfalls (they take professional photos and took some amazing scenery photos) and then they treated us to dinner. We miss them already!

Saturday we went to the Boy scouts Blue and Gold ceremony. We had a lot of fun. Kyler received 3 new badges that he is oh so PROUD of.
Jared and Kyler accepting his badge.
Jared and I had to put together a game for the event. The scout leader suggested this game to us. You have a race between 2 teams (2 boys on each team) wrapping gifts one handed. It was a riot to watch. The parents even got in on the action and played.
Being goofy! Lexi had just as much fun as Kyler did, she has made several girl friends there and they run around playing at every gathering. It's great to see.
Kyler took these photos, can you tell how proud he is!?

And now...only a few weeks before we leave to Utah! I am hoping my nausea and sickness calms down a bit so I won't be getting sick during the whole 11 1/2 hour drive. Though we are all excited to see everyone, the drive will definitely be worth it!
