Valentine's day

The kids and I made chocolate covered strawberries

Kyler is such a gentleman, he bought his girlfriend flowers, chocolates and a bear. He came up with the idea to give her one at each recess. I'm amazed they've been together this long.
Jared was out of state for the week of Valentine's, so these three were my cute dates.
The treats I had waiting for them after school. Homemade pastries, chocolates, and a note with 14 things I love about you.
Lexi asked for Valentine's hair. This was my best attempt. She was happy.
The desserts I made the kiddos. Puff pastries filled with homemade whipped cream, a little strawberry creme, chocolate, and strawberries.
The gifts Kyler's girlfriend gave him!
A day spent on the lake. Foster Dam:
 Her beautiful blue eyes.
 Lexi's beautiful green eyes.

 Ari's first time fishing

Kyler caught a fish, but being the great brother he is, handed the rod off to Ari so she could reel in her very first fish!

Jared's birthday! (and such)

Lexi is always creating art. Here is an underwater diorama she made recently:
She also lost a tooth!
LSP exploring outside.
Ari making a bird feeder.
Kyler helped.
Daddy helped her hang it in the tree by the window.

She yelled "I did it!" She loves to watch the birdies eat and often is calling them "here birdy birdy, come eat your food!"
Happy birthday Jared!
Our tradition of the special birthday breakfast.
I made french toast with a homemade raspberry/cream cheese and bacon.
We bought him a moutain bike and gave it to him first thing in the morning.
We went on a bike ride and sushi for dinner. After we had white chocolate raspberry cheesecake with a chocolate crust I made.

Ari kept blowing the candle out before we were done signing, ha ha.
The kids are rewarded at school with CIA (caught in action). Lexi received 2 this week! Such a great kid.
Kyler reading to Arilyn, such a good brother
We had a great week. Now Jared is off for a work trip this week.
