The past month and a half has been SUPER busy! The last few weeks of the kids school year was jam packed with activities, as soon as school was out we headed to Utah for a week long trip, the day after we returned was father's day, shortly after Jared's beloved grandfather passed so he left to California to attend his funeral as I was left solo with the kids, the day after he returned my brother, Joe, and his family arrived, the day before they left my sister, Danielle, brother, John, and his family came for a visit. They just left on Saturday. Here are the photos to commemorate their visit as well as other things.

Cubscouts event: local races. It was too loud for Ari, so she and I stayed home. The kids and Jared had a blast though. However, Lexi felt terribly bad for a man who wrecked and broke his leg. She kept on and on about hoping he was ok for days after.

Sweet Lexi rocked Ari to sleep as I was busy doing laundry. Ari is very lucky to have such loving siblings.

While Jared was in California:

When Lexi won Citizen of the Year at school, I told her she could pick any treat for me to make her. She chose grasshopper bars (same thing Kyler chose when he won last year).

I took the kids to Cool Pool in Albany. They had a blast playing, Ari napped and I read--a great day.

Arilyn had just fallen asleep when the fireworks began. She awoke startled and grabbed onto me so tight. Eventually she enjoyed the lights.

The next day was my brother's birthday. I was so happy to be able to spend the day with him. Our dad came to visit.

In Utah we had a baby photo shoot. So, naturally, we had round 2 in Oregon.

Wow...they have the same ears!

The triple chocolate bundt cake I made him. Jared had made this cake for me for my birthday and we loved it.

After Joey and his family left, we went to the lake to meet up with Johnny, his family and my dad as they were camping.

Afterwards we went to the beach to play. It was Arilyn's first time on the beach and touching the ocean. She ate a handful of sand and loved the water!

It's never easy to say goodbye to loved ones, but I will cherish our new memories shared forever! Thanks to my siblings and their family for joining us.
