10 years!

August 27. We headed to Newport to celebrate our ten year anniversary. We spent the day playing at the ocean, then enjoyed dinner in the evening before relaxing in our room for the night.

August 28, our TEN year anniversary!
We took the kids to an aquarium in Newport.

10 years...We were married so young I doubt many had confidence in us (as to be expected), yet here we are. We have made it through anything life has thrown our way and because of it, we are such a strong couple. I consider myself to be mighty lucky on a daily basis.
Our short little getaway was so wonderful. Yes, we took the kids as we want them to share in life's experiences as well. Yes, it was short. But it was amazing. Just really solidifies the love and bond we share as a family. Here's to another 10...

Fall is in the air...

The countdown to Alexia's birthday has begun...just 12 days left and my little princess will be 6. Wow how bittersweet!!

A big thanks to grandma Pat and grandpa Vaughn for sending Lexi a card and money! She is so excited to pick out a toy.
