Starting to feel like Christmas...

Last week Lexi asked for her training wheels off again and Jared gave in. She started asking in the spring, but as she is very accident prone, we held off. Plus, Jared wasn't quite ready to let her be a big girl! ;)
Here she is all geared up and ready to roll...
And she's off...

What a great daddy, he was right there with her the entire time.

After school, we walked to the river across the street. The water is SO high!

I love the colors.

Being silly, as always.

All by herself! She was BEYOND ready, she didn't have a single accident.

The next day, we decided to go for a hike at a local place with 3 waterfalls. It's so beautiful.

Please excuse how terrible I look, I have had a cold for a few weeks that is really making it difficult to sleep.

Can you see the red bird on the branch? He was too quick for us to have the opportunity to catch a good photo of him.

Giant trees.

My princess.

My angels.

My sunshine.

Trees as far as the eye can see.

Cuties.

ha ha Kyler!

Handsome guy!

Waterfall #1 again, from below.

This is my FAVORITE!

Her little legs can only handle so much, break time!

Always goofy!

Falls #2. We hiked to the top.

Waterfall #3.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Driving to my dad's. It rained hard on the drive there. Lexi ALWAYS falls asleep on the drive.

My step mom's Christmas village, or I should say 1/4 of it. The kids LOVED it!

The kids and grandpa.

Grandpa's girl!

Yesterday, we went Christmas tree shopping! It is always a great event for us, to go pick out the best tree, take it home, bake homemade cookies, make hot cocoa, turn on Christmas movies and decorate the tree! We had such a great time, as we do every year.
Kyler and Lexi searching the trees.

We picked out a 7' Noble Fir. It is BEAUTIFUL! Our best (and cheapest-$5 an inch for Noble Firs here) tree we have ever gotten!

The tree turned out wonderfully. Now it feels like the Christmas season.

Jared is off to Montreal for his annual Christmas party today. Luckily it's only a short trip. Danielle will arrive Saturday, we are SO excited. As is she. That's all she asked for for Christmas.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
